Helen Handelman
Helen is a filmmaker and writer
based in Asheville, North Carolina.
- She's made 3 short films:
two of us, NEPO BABY, and Olive & Lynn.
- For the last 6 years, she's been working with writer John Seabrook on The Spinach King (Norton, June 2025).
- In 2016, Helen graduated with honors from Wesleyan University, where she studied Theater and Religion - and wrote a thesis about the moon!
